Coming to a city near you: 24-Karat gold rolling papers. (And a scavenger hunt.)
On Febuary 4, Shine Rolling Papers is hosting a scavenger hunt, called “Shine Day,” for fans of their 24k gold rolling papers.
The company recently announced they’lll be stashing thousands of dollars worth of gold products in 20 different U.S. cities. It will be their fourth annual #ShineDay.
By solving riddles and other challenges, you can win packs full of gold papers and other merch. There's also an online version of the game that can yield you four cases full of prizes. The cities with hidden prizes will include Atlanta, Austin, Boston, Chicago, Denver, Detroit, Houston, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, Minneapolis, NYC, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Portland, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle, and Washington D.C.
The idea for 24k gold rolling papers was formed, naturally, in Vegas. The Shine founders enjoyed a cigar that was wrapped in gold leaf. (Their other brand, Pure Leaf, makes pure tobacco leaf blunt wraps.) They wondered how they could bring the experience of smoking gold to any lively party setting.
Most people can’t afford a gold-wrapped cigar habit. So the company chose to make rolling papers instead. Word spread. Rapper 2 Chainz smoked a Shine 24k joint on GQ's series "Most Expensivest Sh*t."
Shine papers are slow-burning, making them a festive accessory to any party. The ash will also contain gold flakes. Shine is elevating the social experience of cannabis consumption with the world’s first 24 karat rolling papers.
