Love festivals? And Northern California? And pot? Check out the Emerald Cup this December!
The Emerald Cup is an awesome cannabis-and-music festival in Sonoma County. It's only a couple weeks away. And Willie Nelson will be there!
Northern California has a history of cannabis cultivation. The Emerald Triangle is known for its black-market harvests and lifelong growers. The region produces some of the finest cannabis in the country.
The Emerald Cup,founded and produced by Tim and Taylor Blake, sets the standard for cannabis events. This event combines a love of music and cannabis into a weekend festival, including comedy acts, renowned speakers, popular bands, and a cannabis awards show.
This year, Willie Nelson will accept his award on Sunday. The Emerald Cup’s main focus is to advance the support of sustainable outdoor cannabis cultivation. They also focus on connecting cannabis experts to farmers and patients throughout the duration of the festival. Attendees will also be able to purchase cannabis. (You'll be held to California’s legal purchase limits, however.) Check out the speakers, music, and comedy acts.Jay and Silent Bob will be performing on Saturday. Attendees will also be able to see glass artists and speakers. Doug Benson and Ngaio Bealum, who co-hosts Cooking on High on Netflix, will be hosting the event. The musical line up is also filled with great artists, includingProtoje andBig Gigantic.Pro tip: Don't miss the Sunday show, when the high-energy, Brooklyn-based band Antibalas takes over the stage.
